FALL BALL

During fall ball, players typically play at the level they will during the next spring season. For instance, a farm leaguer just turning 8 will play farm fall ball, but a player just turning 11 would play senior little league in the fall. This guideline allows players to get a jump on the level of play as they prepare for the next regular season.

Fall Ball is a teaching season intended to allow children who want to play in the fall the opportunity to do so while keeping the skills they learned in the past sharp. It allows players who are moving up to get a taste of the play they will experience at the next level in the spring. It is laid-back at most levels. Each team plays roughly two games per week or weekend. At times, opponents may have lighted fields and host NBSA teams for weeknight games.
